Meanwhile, the Federal High Court in Lagos has adjourned the N300 million suit instituted by suspected billionaire kidnapper , Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike aka Evans, against the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, and three others, Premium Times reports.

Evans had challenged his continued detention but Justice Chuka Obiozor ruled that there was no need for haste in hearing the suit, as the court was on vacation.
According to Justice Obiozor, who adjourned the case while sitting as a vacation judge, the urgency of the suit had been relaxed as a result of the arraignment of Evans before the State High Court last week, where the suspected kidnapper had pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy and kidnapping.
