The dilemma of a widow (a picture of my country)

The dilemma of a widow (a picture of my country) By Falade Emmanuel Akintunde. A cruel life awaits a widow, especially this particular widow whose husband has disappeared but has not been declared deceased.  This left her on the verge of confusion, considering the nurturing of her three infants who shared conflicting ideologies. They are namely; Olayinka, Chukwuemeka and Sanusi. This mark the beginning of her predicament. She needed to find a solution to the unwanted mess she had found herself which is the implication of the disunity and diversity of views that existed among her three children. Auspiciously for her, she met a new love, who she felt would harmonise the family in their differences. Who would also display the epitome of a good leadership. At first, she was overwhelmed with joy to the extent that she enjoyed doing **yanga** to her colleagues. Unluckily, she realised that her new love was not capable of what she was expecting. She was looking for a man who could rai

How to become a career blogger

Image
A lot of people ask me if it's possible to make a decent living as a career blogger. The short answer is - Yes [That is what I do]. The question is what is career blogging? It is setting up a blog and publishing contents on your chosen career, hobbies or passion, and attracting niche audience who is in love with your contents as your readers. For example, I have a building engineer who owns a blog and publishes information on building practices, construction tips etc. I have a medical doctor who blog on fertility issues, dentistry, and fitness. I have an accountant who owns a blog on accounting, he writes and publishes information on how to use "Sage 50", PowerPoint, Financial modeling, Advanced Excel, Quick-books, etc. The same goes with every practice under the heaven. You can actually create a blog for any chosen career of your choice, attract the exact same audience with similar interests as your fans, and explore your creativity. Many people think

Madrid loses to Real Betis, continuing their La Liga bad start

Image
Real Madrid continued their disastrous start to the La Liga campaign with a 1-0 home loss against Real Betis on Wednesday.  Cristiano Ronaldo   started up front, but couldn’t provide the breakthrough Los Blancos required as Zinedine Zidane’s men suffered their first defeat from five opening league fixtures.  Second-half substitute Borja Mayoral nearly fired the home side ahead late, with a sensational back-heel of Dani Carvajal’s cross from the right, but Betis keeper Antonio Adan did enough to parry his low shot off the crossbar to keep the scoreline level.  Betis thought they’d snatched a late winner in the 90th minute, but the goal was rightfully ruled offside, much to the visitors’ dismay.  But they were celebrating four minutes later, when Antonio Sanabria headed home Antonio Barragan’s inch-perfect cross past a helpless Keylor Navas from close range.  The defending champions have now taken just eight points from five matches on the young season. They are seven points behind lea
