Ifeanyi Ejiofor, counsel of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has asked a federal high court in Abuja to order Tukur Buratai, chief of army staff, to reveal the whereabouts of his client.  Last week, Ejiofor filed a suit at the court asking it to vacate its order proscribing the group. The military had declared IPOB a terrorist organisation before the government approached the court to legitimise its action outlawing the group. But on Wednesday, Kanu’s counsel filed an amended suit asking the court to order the chief of army staff to disclose the whereabouts of his client. He confirmed the filing of the legal action to TheCable. He said Kanu was last seen on September 14 when soldiers invaded his residence at Afara-ukwu in Umuahia, Abia state. Emmanuel, Kanu’s younger brother, had earlier asked the army to produce his sibling whether dead or alive. The army is yet to respond to the demands for the disclosure of the whereabouts of Kanu.

Actress, Meghan Markle's ex-husband Trevor Engelson is producing a comedy TV show about a divorcée who marries a British Prince' According to Deadline reports, the show which is not yet titled, will be based on an American divorced mother who moves to London to marry a British Prince. It will explore the difficulties of sharing custody with the royal family when your ex-wife is married to a Prince.  Trevor, 40,  who is a Film producer is said to have been inspired by real-life events.  He reportedly had a conversation with fellow producer Dan Farah, about what it would be like if Mr. Engelson and Ms. Markle had children, and he had to share custody with the British Royal Family. Russia  has just said it will ban  Facebook in 2018 if the social network fails to comply with local data storage laws. Alexander Zharov,  head of communications regulator Roskomnadzor, was quoted by official state media outlets saying " the law is obligatory for all. In all cases we will make sure the law is complied with, or the company will stop working in the Russian Federation. There are no exceptions here." Russia's law on personal data storage came into effect in September 2015 and It requires companies that collect the personal data of citizens to store the information on Russian soil. Zharov said his agency has not been in contact with Facebook but added that the company needs to comply with the law soon. "In 2018, we will think about it, and maybe we will check," Zharov told state media that Roskomnadzor had received a letter from Twitter saying it would comply with the data storage law starting in 2018. The Senate on Tuesday said the sum of $9 billion had been spent by the federal government to defend the naira. Ambode said the appointment of Justice Oke, as the acting Chief Judge of the State, was in line with judicial precedence and the long-aged tradition of succession, by seniority on the bench. Donald Trump imposes new sanctions on 8 North Korean banks Today,  President Trump  escalated pressure on  Kim Jong Un  to disband his nuclear weapons program by imposing sanctions on eight  North Korean banks. "We are targeting North Korean banks and financial facilitators acting as representatives for North Korean banks across the globe. This further advances our strategy to fully isolate North Korea in order to achieve our broader objectives of a peaceful and denuclearized Korean peninsula"  Treasury Secretary  Steven Mnuchin  said in a statement. The affected banks include Agricultural Development Bank, Cheil Credit Bank and International Industrial Bank. The administration also imposed sanctions on more than two dozen people linked to North Korea's financial network. The Treasury Department said they are North Koreans operating in China, Russia, Libya and the United Arab Emirates and who act as representatives of North Korean banks.
